If you’re a Ben Folds Five fan, don’t let the idea of a solo piano performance put you off. After years of watching Ben Folds evolve on stage from backing musician to running his own full production stage band, I’m looking forward to a more intimate presentation. The performance is likely to be more artful with increased clarity as his works are showcased in their written format – solo – on piano.

Ben Folds offers a complete sound through the mastery of the piano. His dynamic melodic arrangements and cleverly written lyrics can easily stand alone. Although I also love his full band sound, this will be an auditory treat.
